MFour Profile: Jenn Wang, Creative Design Manager
As a design manager, Jenn oversees design for MFour email, website, digital and print for the marketing team. When she’s not working, she enjoys playing video games, cooking, and traveling or exploring new trails with her husband and two pups.
Why did you become a designer?
I’ve always loved to be creative. When I was young, I used to scrapbook and eventually started making digital collages for my Xanga blog. Initially I thought I wanted to go into interior design but decided to go into graphic design because I thought it was a better fit for what I wanted to do.
What do you do at MFour?
I’m the Creative Design Manager at MFour and I manage the marketing design team. I oversee all design on the marketing side and make sure that the company’s design is consistent and stays on brand.
What project are you most proud of?
I’m proud of the first interactive infographic I created for the MFour website. I repurposed a static infographic we had already designed but added some animation and interactive elements where the user could click to learn more about Fair Trade Data. It was something new that we hadn’t done before and hope we’re able to create more in the future.
Where do you get inspiration?
I get inspiration from trying new experiences and traveling to new places.
What do you like most about working here?
I love the people. Everyone from the different departments I have worked with has been great. Management is also very supportive, open to new ideas, and they care about the employees and their growth within the company.
Why do you think culture is important at MFour?
Culture is important at MFour because it motivates and inspires people to be more engaged in their work. It gives people a strong connection with the company and creates a positive work environment.
